The Award winning Mount Beauty Writers Festival is now in its 5th year, going from strength to strength with a new format and exceptional line up for 2026.

 

We have been quoted as “The best small Writers Festival in the country” and the committee have worked hard to maintain that status.

 

As Paul Kelly sang ‘from little things big things grow’ that is our aim, however we want it to remain an intimate affair where patrons and authors can spend time together.

 

The Youth Writing Competition is an integral part of the festival with record numbers of entires each year, a wonderful way to get kids interested in reading and writing in the true sense.
