Youth Writing Competition

Do you have a story to tell? We're on the scout for young writers, seeking 

inspirational and creative stories that ignite the imagination, or perhaps detail the wonderful journey of others or an event in time, the choice is yours!

 

Open to all student residents of the Upper Kiewa Valley. If you are, or know of any young creative talents who might like to explore their writing skills and interests, and be in the running for some great prizes, enter now.

Simply write a short story of your choice (fiction, adventure, fantasy, biography etc.) by the 30 August 2024.

Age Categories: 10 to 13 years, and 14 to 18 years

Story Length: Between 1000 and 2000 words

First prize $350 per age category

 

Parent consent must be given to enter this competition.
